Baldur's Gate Cheats and Tips [PC]

Glitch - Keep Training Items

When fighting the monsters in the cellar during the Prologue, take the items you want from the NPCs that join you. Then export the character, then exit the game. Start a new game and import the character, and you will still have the items. You can repeat this to get multiple copies of the item.
 

 

Password - Various Other Cheat Codes

Use a text editor to open the 'Baldur.ini' file and under the heading "Game Options: enter the line "Cheats = 1." Then during gameplay press control and tab to open a text box at the bottom of the screen and enter the following codes to get the effects:

(Note: For the last two codes if you use a British keyboard you have to press shift and # to get the speechmarks)

 
Drizzt will appear at the centre of the screen and attack your opponentsCheats:DrizztDefends();

Password - Change Paper Doll

First, write this in the console: CLUAConsole:EnableCheatKeys()
Use CTRL+6 to view the previous paper doll and CTRL+7 to view the next one.
