Secret - Flood Sting Chameleon's Stage | |
| First, defeat Launch Octopus. Then go to Sting Chameleon's stage. Certain parts of the stage will be filled with water, and one section that became completely flooded will allow access to the Heart Tank. | |
Secret - Freeze Flame Mammoth's Stage | |
| Normally, Flame Mammoth's Stage is filled with lava that would kill you with one hit if you land in it. However, defeat Chill Penguin and when you arrive at Flame Mammoth's stage, all of the lava will be frozen over. | |
Secret - Cut the Power in Spark Mandrill's Stage | |
| First, defeat Storm Eagle. Then go to Spark Mandrill's stage. In the background of the beginning section, you will see pieces of the Death Rogumer, which had crashed through the electric pipes, shorting out the spark traps in that section. Also, the mini-boss in that stage will no longer be able to use its powerful electric attacks. The lights in the stage will also flicker on and off in certain sections. | |
Easter Egg - Fire Ball | |
| To obtain an ability which lets you shoot a powerful fire ball forward do the following: 1. Beat all the mini bosses and collect all sub tanks and heart tanks. 2. Enter the Armored Armadillo stage. 3. When you reach the the door which leads to the boss's room don't enter it, instead climb up the wall and collect the energy pellet lying on the above ledge. 4. After you grab the energy pellet, jump into the chasm to the left of the door. 5. repeat this process 4 mode times and a hidden capsule will appear containing the fire ball power up. To use the fire ball press down, forward, fire. Note: you must have full energy in order to use the fire ball. | |
