| Successfuly complete the game on hard mode will unlock Nightmare mode. | |
Unlockable - Hard Mode | |
| Beat the game on normal, to unlock hard mode. The enemies will give 2x as much damage, and the bosses will use new attacks. | |
Unlockable - Time Trail | |
| Beat the game, and the time trail mode will be unlocked. This allows you to only battle against the bosses. | |
Unlockable - Unlocking Debug mode normally | |
| After beating Galbaran in Nightmare boss rush...you will be fighting against Berhard...win against Berhard will unlock the Debug mode. | |
Unlockable - Inferno Mode | |
| To unlock the hardest mode, you must beat the game on nightmare. Note you need the latest patch for this to work. | |
Password - Activating Debug Mode | |
| 1. Go to the folder where game is saved; /Documents and Settings/[Username]/Application Data/Falcom/YSF_WIN/.2. Locate ysf_win.ini and open it using notepad or any text editor you prefer. It is a good idea to make a backup of the file.3. Locate [game] section and rewrite following lines as shown below; GameClearFlag=3 GameClearFlag=1 (I guess that this 'debug mode' is given when you clear the games at least 3 times in normal, hard, and nightmare mode, but I haven't checked it yet.)4. Save the file.5. Start the game or load your gamedata. Now you can play time-attack mode even without clearing game at least once. Also, you can use:F2 - for 1 level up F3 - for 1,000 gold F4 - for 1,000 Ravaal steel (used for weapon power-up) F5 - restore HP to maxduring gameplay. | |
