Unlockable - Unlock Knuckles in Sonic 2

Knuckles in Sonic 2Play Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Sonic Spinball 20 times each.

 

Unlockable - Unlock Hints

To unlock the Hints text for each game, keep it open for three hours. You don't have to play the game, just let it run. After three hours, exit out, and when you reenter the game, or check the Hints menu in the Options area, that game's hints will be available.
 

 

Unlockable - Unlock Blue Sphere game

Play Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic 3D Blast 20 times each, exit to the title screen and then go back into the game select screen and Blue Sphere will now be unlocked.
 

 

Unlockable - Unlock The Ooze and Comix Zone games

Have a Sonic Heroes completed game save file on your Xbox hard drive. When you start the Sonic Mega Collection Plus game up, you will have Comix Zone and The Ooze unlocked from the start!!
 

 

Unlockable - Misc. Unlockables

Sonic 3 & KnucklesPlay Sonic 3 20 times and Sonic & Knuckles 20 times
RistarPlay Blue Sphere, Flicky, Knuckles in Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 and Knuckles 30 times.
The OozeUnlock everything except for Ristar

 

Unlockable - Unlock Flicky

Play Mean Bean Machine at least 30 times to unlock Flicky. You can just enter the game and exit as soon as it loads up. After the 30th time, exit to the title screen and enter the games menu again.
 

 

Unlockable - Alternate way to unlock Comix Zone

Play and exit all non-gamegear games 50 times each, exit to the title screen and then go back into the game select screen and Comix Zone will now be unlocked.

Password - Codes for Sonic the Hedgehog

Just like in the original SEGA Genesis version, at the title screen you can enter these codes:
 
press X+Start to get the Stage Select ScreenUp, Down, Left, Right
Hold X when starting a level to get Debug ModeUp, B, Down, B, Left, B, Right, B

 

Password - Sonic 3 & Knuckles Level Select and Debug Mode

In Angel Island, continue through the level untill you come to the swinging vines near the bonus stage ring and jump up and grab one. While swinging press Left, Left, Left, Right, Right, Right, Up, Up, Up. You should hear a ring chime. Now pause the game and press X to return to the main menu. There should be a new option, Sound Test. Select it and you will enter the sound test/stage select menu. In here select Mushroom Hill Zone and play through the stage untill you come to the ratchet machine. Jump up and hang from it then press Left, Left, Left, Right, Right, Right, Up, Up, Up. Now pause and press X again to reset. Go back to the level select menu and select any level while holding X and you can now use debug mode which allows you to change in and out of objects from the current level by pressing A, change the current object by pressing B, and make a copy of the current object by pressing X. Also you can reset the game any time by pausing and pressing X.

At the main menu press Up, Up, Up, Down, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right. You should hear a ring chime. Hold X and press start to access the Level Select menu.

At the Level Select menu go to the sound test option and play the following tracks in this order: 01 09 09 04 01 00 01 08. At the last tune/sound effect you should hear a ring chime which enables Debug mode. Holding X when selecting a level will allow you to change in and out of objects from the level by pressing the A button, changing objects by pressing the B button, and making a copy of the current object by pressing the X button. You can also reset the game by pausing and pressing X.

Also at the Level Select menu play the following tracks in this order: 01 06 07 07 07 02 01 06. You should hear the emerald chime which means you now have all the chaos emeralds. Alternatively, you could just select the special stage from the Level Select menu and keep playing them untill you get them all.

 

 

Password - Flicky Round Select

At the Title Screen, press the Start Button. On the "How to play" screen, Hold the following buttons: Up + X Button + B Button and press the Start Button.
 

 

Password - Change Tails' name to Miles in Sonic 2

At the title screen menu, press up, down, down, down, up, and you will hear a ring tone. Now the character select and the lives counter will say Miles instead of Tails!
 

 

Password - Comix Zone Jukebox Codes

Select the jukebox from the options and play the followin tracks in order for the following effect.
