As part of its latest financial report, Acclaim confirmed that it will release ports of the PlayStation 2 game Burnout on the Nintendo GameCube and the Microsoft Xbox. Both versions of the game will be released in the third quarter of this year. No word on whether there are any specific enhancements planned for either versions, other than Acclaim does plan to take advantage of the individual hardware in the visuals department.

On a related note, Acclaim also confirmed that Legends of Wrestling for the GameCube will be released in Q3 2002 and confirmed a version of the game for the Microsoft Xbox. The Xbox game will also be released in the third quarter.
